Our client is a video production house that specializes in creative storytelling. Spanning across multiple media disciplines, they dominate the industry in various countries including Singapore and Malaysia. They pride themselves on not only being profit-driven but also creating value for their communities.

The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Hunting for new business opportunities and building relationships with customers, vendors and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.
  • Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction in the Media Industry. 
  • Developing short and long term business strategies to improve the Group’s businesses.
  • Presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
  • Assessing marketing and sales as well as supplier and vendor operations and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Preparing all documentation required for requests for proposals
  • Researching emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy customers’ needs in the media market.
  • Managing and leading a team effectively to attain desired results.
  • Building, training and managing a sales team to bring in new businesses

The Profile

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; 
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in Business Development, ideally within the Media industry
  • You have strong business acumen and are motivated by hunting for new leads and bringing in new businesses
  • You are proficient in all Microsoft Office and CRM Softwares 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential for the role
  • You have exceptional leadership and management skills
  • You are detail-oriented and persuasive, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders and clients
