What this job involves

  • Provide events support for Singapore as the Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) from Facilities ensuring all events are successfully produced and executed from Facilities Stand Point
  • Work with the client events team ensuring all events are successfully supported relating to facilities
  • Work with the onsite facilities team to ensure planned preventative and reactive tasks are completed
  • Perform conference room furniture set-ups and resets for meetings and events
  • Regularly work with external contractors, e.g. cleaning, AV team, production crews and event hosts
  • Provides support for guests, visitors and employees at during events and in the day to day running of the office environment
  • Assists with the coordination and booking for internal and external events, including working with internal booking systems and Outlook calendar management
  • Liaise with the client during the event to proactively action any last minute requests
  • Ensure appropriate follow up with end-users
  • Provide support for meetings and conference room reservations, as needed and directed
  • Carry out routine quality inspections of all event spaces, furniture and equipment on a regular basis, logging all issues and ensuring actions are completed on time
  • Respond to all Event and related Task Requests timely and accurately as per SLAs.
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties from time to time to support the rest of the facilities team when necessary

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration/ Hospitality/ Facilities or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Hospitality, Events or Facilities Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a service mindset (customer oriented)
  • Ability to manage multiple operational matters on a daily basis and  work without direct supervision
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
  • Good team player and able to work independently
  • Goal-oriented and driven to resolve issues quickly
