Trainee Infant Care Teacher (WSQ Advance Certificate in Early Years)

You will be placed on an 8-month Place and Train scheme – Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY). This will provide you with an overview of the history and theories behind early childhood care and education, as well as an understanding of the various domains and stages of development for children from 0 to 3 years old. At the same time, you will be attached to childcare centres for practical on-the-job training and field practicum experiences.

  • At least successfully completed Secondary 4 education or completed 10 years of formal education AND
  • At least average SOA 5 in the WPL series, including SOA 5 for WPL (Written) (Note: This only applies to applicants who do not possess a credit in GCE 'O' level EL1 or acceptable alternatives.)
  • Passion in caring for infants and toddlers
  • Candidates who are currently pursuing ACEY course are welcome to apply (Please remove, this should be place for AICT)
